Newborn babies are probably the most sensitive and helpless people on earth. There are winter sleeping bags, that usually come with long sleeves and a thicker fabric. Usually cotton is preferred because it is gentle with the baby’s skin. Of course, summer ones can also be made from cotton, but the material is thinner and it lets air circulate better.
There are baby sleeping bags that let the arms of the baby move freely either because they have no sleeves, just a tank top appearance and there are those that have sleeves but again, letting the arms to move. There is the other type that practically wraps the baby without even letting the arms out. Some newborn babies feel comfortable in that, so you can try several types and analyze in which one your newborn baby sleeps better. Better sleep for the baby will mean better nights for you as well, as the baby will be calmer and won’t wake up so often.
